New Twins Film to Star Eddie murphy

THERE'S even more good news for fans of film comedy this week.

Hot on the heels of the Anchorman sequel I told you about yesterday comes the news that there will be a follow-up to the Eighties' classic Twins.
The original starred Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger as unlikely brothers.
Now film-makers are adding a third, long-lost sibling to the mix... Eddie Murphy.

I've even mocked up a promo shot for the movie, above.

The film, in the early stages of development, will be called Triplets – how ever did they think that one up?
Sounds bonkers. Hope they cast Kelly Preston again. And now that Anchorman 2 has been given the go-ahead, Will Ferrell is thinking of other ways to extend the brand. That's other ways beyond selling bottles of Sex Panther, the favourite cologne of Ron Burgundy.

Will says he's had previous talks about putting the KVWN Channel 4 news team on the Broadway stage for a musical.

He said: "We pitched it and everybody thought it would be great.

"To have us all singing and dancing on stage would be fantastic.
"I don't underestimate how hard it would be, with all the training and rehearsals."
Jazz-flute solos would fit right in with the jazz-hands dancing.
