Muamba has been able to sit out of his bed, eating and able to watch Match of the Day this week as his miraculous recovery continues.

On Tuesday Bolton returned to White Hart Lane for the first time since the midfielder's cardiac arrest shortly before half-time led to the match being abandoned.

Several Bolton players have continued to visit Muamba as he recovers in intensive care at the London Chest Hospital.

Meanwhile, Liam Stacey, a student who mocked Muamba on Twitter, has lost his appeal against a 56-day jail term.
