George Clooney comments on his arrest

After the arrest, the 50-year-old actor said: "It's actually a humiliating thing to be arrested no matter what you do, but I'm glad to be standing here with my father."
Adding: "It is on my permanent record. And you know that that picture's going to be all over everything."
The Descendants star, his 78-year-old father Nick and a number of other protesters had been given three verbal warnings by police not to cross a police line outside the embassy before being taken into custody.
He was released after paying a $100 fine having just spent a few hours in custody.
The star and his father admitted they didn't know they were "not allowed to hang out at the Sudanese Embassy".
"Listen, what we've been trying to achieve today is we're trying to bring attention to an ongoing emergency," he added. "Our job right now is to try to bring attention to it, and one of those ways was, apparently, get arrested."
