One Direction's success keeping Simon Cowell awake at night

One Direction have claimed that Simon Cowell is "too excited to sleep" because of the success of the band in the US.
The X Factor stars are currently supporting American boyband Big Time Rush on their North American tour.
The lads have proved extremely popular and gained a huge female following.
Louis Tomlinson told the Daily Mirror: "He's [Cowell] really, really excited about the reaction we've had out here and has said he's not sleeping properly because he keeps thinking about us and how it's going.
"He's far too excited to sleep. Which is quite cool."
The group's debut album Up All Night is tipped to reach number on in the US charts.
The boys were told that it would take them longer to crack the US market, but social networking sites have helped them to gain fans.
Liam Payne said: "Our tour manager told us it would take three years of hard graft to do well in America. So for it to have taken off as it has is incredible.
"Twitter has been a major factor in getting our name out there in the States. Just as twitter followers have gone up, so we have, too."
