The app is available from the App Store for 69p and from the Google Play Shop for free (with adverts). Rovio said advert free and HD versions will also be available to Android users at an extra cost. iPad owners will have to cough up £1.99 for the game.
Angry Birds Space features a total of 60 levels, with one exclusive level for Samsung Galaxy Note owners. Rovio said there are plenty of hidden goodies, secret levels and more content available via in-app purchases. Angry Birds Space features zero gravity, using gravity of planets for tricks and new birds.
Those quick on the uptake of Apple's new iPad will be pleased to know that the iPad version includes full Retina display support. Rovio said it marks its first 'integrated entertainment launch' because merchandise, animation and books are all available at the same time as the game.
