Britain's Got Talent judges have predicted chart success for 'annoying'
rapper Mr Zip and his song 'Lost My Keys, Lost My Phone?'
In scenes aired last night, the 49-year-old plasterer from Manchester won over the hearts of the audience with an impersonation of Prince Charles before diving into his self-written song Lost My Keys, Lost My Phone.
Proud of his performance, which saw Mr Zip shake the hands of each of the judges, Zipparah Tafari assured the panel: 'It's going to be massive.
'It's not a case of if but when it will be number one. You can't keep Mr Zip in the house. Mr Zip is global.'
A bemused-looking Cowell admitted afterwards: 'When you started I thought you were annoying, then you got more annoying, and then I liked you.'
'It was catchy Zippy. I can't get the song out of my head,' he adds.
And Alesha Dixon was in agreement. 'You have been the highlight of my day so far,' she said.
In scenes reminiscent of DJ Talent's first audition, Amanda Holden predicted chart success for the quirky rapper.
Britain's Got Talent airs tonight at 8pm on ITV1.
