LONDON (SHARECAST) - TalkTalk Group has joined forces with Fujitsu to design and delivera solution for the Post Office that will provide a next generation network (NGN) platform for the PO's Homephone and Broadband customers. Fujitsu has partnered with TalkTalk to deliver the NGN platform, with Capita for the customer contact centre and with MDS for consumer billing. It is anticipated that TalkTalk will see an aggregate revenue over the five-year term in excess of £100m. Dido Harding, TalkTalk Group Chief Executive Officer, added: "We're very proud of the Wholesale opportunities we offer to our strategic partners and are delighted to be working with the Post Office and Fujitsu to provide next-generation broadband and telephony services in line with our long term strategy for leveraging the scale of our network and growing TalkTalk Business. "Our advanced, highly resilient network reaches over 92% of the population in the UK enabling the Post Office to offer great value products to more people, more of the time." TalkTalk's share price rose 0.265 to 155.10p by 12:08. |
